Abstract :
The frame structure is a familiar structural form in the civil engineering field. In order to detect the damages of structure and avoid unexpected invalidation, the method of damage detection based on wavelet analysis and norm space was presented in this paper. It used wavelet analysis technique to dispose structure damage signal, and then utilized norm space to pick-up damage character information. Finally, through the experiment research of the three floor frame structure, the experimental results show that the proposed method is feasible and effective for detecting damages of frame structures without the mathematics model of detected object.
