Abstract :
An E-type planar antenna printed on a dielectric substrate is proposed for mobile and satellite communications. It is analyzed by the finite difference time domain (FDTD) method. The characteristics of the antenna such as return loss, far field patterns and current distribution are shown for structural parameters of the planar antenna. This antenna is of simple structure and is easily fabricated.
