Abstract :
The paper covers the CODENET project, a VSAT network interlinking universities in eastern and western Europe. A one year feasibility study has been completed and the pilot CODENET system is currently under construction. Expansion of the network into the new “Soviet” states and the rest of eastern Europe is foreseen after the completion of the pilot network
