Abstract :
Frequency up-conversion of ultrafast sources emitted in near-infrared range provides an attractive way to generate ultrafast pulses in the visible and UV spectral regions. To achieve frequency conversion, a simple single-pass configuration using the KTP waveguide crystal was employed. We conclude that the TH output the process of phase-matched SH generation followed by non-phase-matched nonlinear mixing between the fundamental and the strong SH light generated in the same waveguide.
