Abstract :
With the rapid development of offshore oilfields, the stability of independent offshore platforms micro-grid is becoming more important. There is an increasing demand for the dynamic modeling of the micro-grid. In this paper, a detailed electromagnetic model of the micro-grid is presented. The modeling of key components such as the gas turbine and submarine cables is introduced especially. Simulations of the load disturbance and ground fault are done on the micro-grid model. And the results demonstrate the model is correct.
