Abstract :
For telecom operators, assessing the IP network performance has played an important role in improving the network planning and optimization. Because there are many metrics that can be used in the assessment of the network performance, few multi-metric quality of service (QoS) evaluation methods have been found to compare the QoS in different networks. In order to evaluate and measure the performance of the IP network more comprehensively, a new method is proposed, which can nondimensionalize the indices and evaluate the efficiency of the end to end links of the IP Network in a integrated manner. The results of experiment indicate that the proposed method can effectively evaluate the QoS of the target links and the whole situation of the IP Network.
