Abstract :
In this paper, we study both theoretically and experimentally nonlinear cw Raman fiber laser beam propagation in a dispersion-shifted fibers (DSF) and demonstrate that supercontinuum (SC) generation relies on modulation instability in the anomalous dispersion regime.
