Abstract
A new electroforming process and a new dispersion hardened material to manufacture grids for lead-acid batteries are presented. In combination they provide grids of any desired technically meaningful thickness, fully current optimised and weight minimised design, superior corrosion resistance, and competitive cost. A continuous production process is under development
