Abstract :
This paper presents a brief tutorial on factors affecting the quality of images from digital cameras, especially factors controlled when making exposure decisions, such as exposure index. It presents a psychometric model for the overall quality of digital camera images captured in the presence of motion and an approach for determination of optimum exposure time based on that model.
