Abstract
The Object/System Modeling (O/SM) is an object-oriented method for the information systems design. This method, based on the system theory of Le Moigne (1990) and software object-oriented approach, consists of an object-oriented modeling technique and a design guideline. The model considers the system to study as an integration of some entities with their own finalities. The interaction between these entities allows them to collaborate for realizing the system finalities. The guideline combine the ascending approach and the descending approach, permitting respectively of the complexification of the system using conjunction and the simplification using disjunction. Nevertheless, O/SM give us a mean to verify the two approach in a set of coherent schemas
