The author uses the ADKEM (advanced kinetic energy missile) IMU (inertial measurement unit) performance requirements as a platform to discuss various error sources and their contribution to the ADKEM system performance and to indicate possible applications of this technology for the future. Particular attention is given to the ADKEM IMU error budget
