Abstract
The users´ requirements specification is an important part in the development of the control of systems. A new method, which guides the expression of these requirements, is described. This one leans on a model which is organised in a hierarchy based on levels of abstraction and uses formalisms which are oriented to nonspecialists. The model is structured by an object-oriented approach and the expected behaviours are specified with Statecharts. This allows the final users to take part in the formalising of their requirements and facilitates the dialogue among the various people which are involved in the development. This method is especially suited to hybrid systems as it uses the same technique to take into account continuous and discrete events aspects
