Abstract :
Analyses of the UTI- and pole series (splitted up into alongtrack components and crosstrack components) of the IRIS and other VLBI Earth rotation programs involving the Wettzell radio telescope are presented, which reveal several short period oscillations. These can be related either to atmospheric or to tidal excitation.
