Abstract
In an elegant and yet simple way, the paper shows how the outputs of n identical plants of the general transfer function G(s)=K/{sp Πl=1μ[s+al]}, with different outputs´ initial conditions, can be made to track a common command input r(t)=Σv=0qr(v)1/(v!)tv through the commissioning of only one central controller H(s). Universal stability requirement can be clearly manifested. As much as the idea of “tracking performance´ of n-identical plants with `one´ controller is bold and foreboding, its comprehension and application are easy to grasp and realize. So, contrary to the vogue of today, it can enjoy tremendous applications in both industrial plants and research centres
