Abstract :
The paper initiatively puts forward a novel synthesis design for generating UWB narrow pulses by using the waveform synthesis technique and wavelet theory, and gives theoretical analysis and computer simulation results as well as the functional block diagram. Using this all-digital implementation method, the pulse can be compressed greatly and its width can be a factor of nearly a hundred narrower than that it was, which has important significance for improving the overall performance of UWB communication systems. This research finds an easily implemented and stable and reliable narrow pulse generation technique.
