Abstract
The purpose of the paper is to apply the fuzzy sliding mode control method to control the position of a ball screw driven by a pneumatic servomotor. In the paper, the triangular membership function and Mamdani rules were used for fuzzification and fuzzy reasoning. A sliding hyperplane was defined and Lyapunov stability theorem was applied to design the fuzzy controller. The experimental results show that the fuzzy sliding control method has good robustness
