Abstract
In this paper, an asynchronous cooperative cellular system is investigated on the uplink. We propose a signal detector which involves successive interference cancellation (SIC) and parallel interference cancellation (PIC) to suppress the impact of interference caused by co-channel users and imperfect synchronisation. Simulation results show that the proposed scheme provides significant performance improvement with low computational complexity.
