Abstract
A new method to compute programmed logic functions in real-time applications is proposed. After a brief review of the current methods, the principle and the algorithm of this new method, called “event-triggered method” are described. This paper also presents the experiments and results which have been carried out in order to compare this new method with the existing methods and show its properties and advantages over the latter
