Abstract :
In this paper, we present a new method to estimate and to correct failures in nonlinear systems. This method uses a generalization of the results developed for implicit systems for the case of nonlinear systems subject to unknown failures. By detection and estimation, we eliminate its influence from the system behavior. The effectiveness of this method is shown on the nonlinear equation describing an inverted pendulum
