Abstract :
The well known connection between H2/H robust control approaches is exploited in the case of the guaranteed cost control (GCC). Hence, GCC in the framework of H theory is generalized in order to handle parametric uncertainties, possibly time-varying, as well as unstructured uncertainty. Furthermore, the decomposition of uncertainty matrices is optimized, in some sense, by using a Q-synthesis algorithm
