Abstract
The application of ultrashort laser pulses allows for precise material processing (industrial micro-machining) by avoiding thermal influence on the bulk material. In this paper, we present a CPA-free diode-pumped all-solid-state thin-disk regenerative amplifier, delivering pulses as short as 5 ps with an average power of 30 W at a repetition rate of 50 kHz.
