Abstract :
Analytical expressions are developed relating receiver figures-of-merit such as dynamic range, gain compression point, and third-order intercept point to third-order intermodulation output power. Procedures are developed to demonstrate how these relationships can be used to determine if a particular design will be in compliance with receiver distortion and interference specifications such as those contained in MIL-STD-461 (CS03, 04, 05). An example is presented to illustrate the procedure.<>
