Abstract :
L-3 Communications has developed an L-band, 13 kW CW klystron for the 12 GeV Upgrade of the CEBAF (Continuous Electron Beam Accelerator Facility) at the Thomas Jefferson National Accelerator Laboratory (JLAB). The RF circuit of the klystron was designed using the NRL/SAIC large-signal simulation code TESLA. A production order for 83 L-4313 klystrons is in progress. This paper will compare the performance predicted by TESLA to measured results.
