Abstract :
In this article, QR factorization of matrix is used in geometric dilution of precision in the location of GPS. The fast algorithm about GDOP has been obtained as the result of the method. Through analyzing the correlation of PDOP (position dilution of precision), HDOP (horizon dilution of precision) and VDOP (vertical dilution of precision), mathematical calculation has been figured out
