  • Abstract
    CETIAT carried out flow rate measurements inside the technical room of a telephone exchange fully equipped with electronic equipment. A false floor equipped with 54 air conditioning terminals takes charge of the air diffusion inside the room in order to remove the heat released by the equipment. CETIAT designed and realized a special flowmeter to measure the flow rate at each supplying terminal and another for the exhaust terminal. The first flowmeter is composed of a transformation piece, a CETIAT flowmeter and a fan compensating the pressure drop of the system and fixing the ambient pressure in the transformation piece. The results obtained at the floor and at the ceiling made it possible to determine the air flow distribution and diffusion inside this technical room
