  • Abstract
The photovoltaic solar generators are today used for large numbers of telecommunication equipment in remote areas. The temperatures to which the solar modules are subject can become quite high. What is the solar cells and modules performance, and above all, what are the photovoltaic generator performance and the battery state of charge in such conditions? The instantaneous and continuous testing of the involved parameters enables the user to keep the solar generators in good working order under such conditions. The author discusses the temperature effects on the conversion efficiency and other parameters, and the economic implications of this
