  • Abstract
The article describes possible types of aircraft cable harnesses damages and represents an overview of potential repair procedures of wires, coaxial cables, cable harnesses itself and connectors. The article discusses the issue of coaxial cable and antenna route measurements. Different types of damages and their possible influences are experimentally tested under the laboratory conditions and partially onboard the L-159 ALCA aircraft. Results of experimental measurement of the M/17/127-RG393 coaxial cable, which is used in the antenna route of IFF transponder onboard the L-159, are presented in the article.
