Abstract :
A generalization of the quasi-optical mode method to analyze and design the miter bend is presented. It is shown that an appropriate mixture mode decreases the diffraction losses sufficiently. An example of designing a miter bend with an operating frequency of 30 GHz at the TE01 mode is investigated.
