Abstract :
The waveguides loaded with a periodic dielectric are considered. A theoretical method has been developed to investigate the wave dispersion characteristics and the beam-wave interaction. HFSS simulations have also been implemented on such structures. Excellent agreement has been obtained confirming that the performance of this structure has been accurately analyzed.
