Abstract :
Based on the mode coupling theory, TE01-HE11 circular waveguide mode converter for Gyro-TWT is discusses in detail, and the geometry structure of bent waveguides and serpentine waveguide are analysis optimally, obtaining the most reliable geometry dimensions. With considering the influence of multimode factor, backward waves, ohmic losses, axis-curved and phase rematch techniques. The whole mode converter is arrived with conversion efficiency nearly 98%.
