Abstract :
In the cloud era, email server is a large scale system. An abundance of storage is contributed to keep a large amount of emails in the server end. The limits of storage system, such as capacity and bandwidth, sometimes become a bottle neck of performance of an email system. There are many duplicate parts among emails as an information sharing system. We propose an architecture to eliminate parts of duplication among emails. It saves storage and improves performance of email server at the cost of more computation.
