Abstract
The interests of sustainable development of China´s economy requires us to protect the environment, cherish resources, but the reality of international competitiveness requires us to maintain a competitive advantage, therefore, the coordinate development between economy and environment protection is our inevitable choice. Strict environmental regulation policies of developed countries are not only failed to damage their international competitiveness of enterprises, but effectively stimulate technological innovation and management innovation. This paper deeply analyzed the evolution process of environmental regulation policy of developed countries, and provided references for China´s decision-making in environmental regulation policy reform according to the practice of United States.
