Abstract :
Wireless links in a magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) device can replace cabled transmission of physiological data or magnetic resonance sensor signals which increases comfort for the patient. As the imaging device is located in a shielded chamber a wireless link can use all frequency ranges above the resonance frequency of the excited nuclei. Therefore we studied two channels, one containing the GSM-900 band and a second containing the 24GHz ISM band.
