Abstract :
In this work, we study the effect of weak disorder in the split-ring resonators parameters on the magnetic response of the composite structures and the existence of the frequency domain where the composite material exhibits the specific left-handed properties such as negative refraction. Composite materials are created by arrays of wires and split- ring resonators,and they are known to possess a negative real part of the magnetic permeability and negative dielectric permittivity in the microwave range
