Abstract :
A combination forecasting method based on gene expression programming (GEP) is introduced in this paper. The main idea of this method is that the nonlinear combination forecasting function can be simulated by gene expression programming. Not only the difficulty of constructing the nonlinear combination forecasting function is decreased, but also the prediction precision is improved by the combination forecasting method based GEP.
