Abstract
The authors describe the development and first practical tests of a probe by means of which static fluctuations of pressure and the correlation of pressure fluctuations with the velocity can be detected in flows. The practical tests concentrate on an analysis of the probe´s frequency response and aim at examining the efficiency of the probe. First correlation results of the fluctuations of pressure and velocity are presented. They were obtained by using this probe in the flow field, including the relaxation region, of a 14° diffuser
