Abstract :
This paper gives an overview of the architecture of the telecontrol system based on GPRS. The objectives of this paper are two fold. One is to present the design and implement of the data center of GPRS DTU. The other is to investigate its performance. According to the features of GPRS DTU, data center provides reliable communication between members of a group by implementing the telecontrol system in the client/server model. With the use of the data center, it is of practical significance to implement multiple master stations to receive data from all slave stations simultaneously and to control all slave stations in parallel. The data center design parameters include real-time control, deployment simplification and the ability to provide high availability, scalability and reliability.
