Abstract :
Australia has a well-established, decentralised National Measurement system. CSIRO´s National Measurement Laboratory maintains the national standards of measurement, the National Association of Testing Authorities accredits calibration and testing laboratories, and the National Standards Commission is responsible for legal metrology and trade measurement.
