  • Abstract
    This paper presents the development of an innovative active-liquid-heat-sink (ALHS) technology for computer center process unit (CPU) or graphics process unit (GPU) cooling system. Principal concepts, basic design, fabrication process and the integration of the Active-Liquid-Block into an internal CPU liquid cooling system are discussed in detail. Experimental verifications by a testing apparatus conforming to ASTM-5470D standards are presented on how the cooling system was tested. Adequate working conditions as well as the system performance trends are shown graphically. Comparison with a commercial air cooling, a commercial heat-pipe as well as a commercial internal liquid cooling system was made and the results are exceptionally good.
