Abstract
In recent years pulsed power activity has gained wide spread importance in the field of defense & research. With involvement of energy storage capacitors, inductors, the generation, and consequent effective utilization of magnetic fields becomes inevitable in these spheres of research. Interaction process using magnetic fields has tremendous importance in every domain of physics. The present work involves a reliable measurement of pulsed magnetic field with search coil (inductive principle) and a novel method of calibrating the same. Both experimental and simulation results are presented, which are in close agreement.
