Abstract :
Carbon nanotubes (CNTs) have excellent performance in field emission; they can be used as field emission (FE) cold cathode. In this paper, we used thermal chemical vapor deposition to synthesize CNTs directly on the surface of traditional thermal-cathode; we changed the sputtering time of catalyst and found that it had a major impact on the emission properties, some discussion were also give.
