  • Abstract
    In Indla, about 130 calibration laboratories and 300 testing laboratories are functioning. These laboratories are now to be given formal accreditation under the National Coordination of Testing and Calibration Facilities (NCTCF) Programme of the Govt. of Indla. NCTCF has two components (a) Calibration Service Programme and (b) Accreditatlon Programme for Testing Laboratories. This paper outlines the organization of NCTCF and describes the salient features of the Calibration Service Programme.
