  • Abstract
    In order to know the classification and stage of Chinese aquatic e-business, this paper uses statistic analysis and qualitative analysis to classify the business model of Chinese aquatic e-business, it points out that Supply-Demand Platform is the main business model at the early stage of Chinese aquatic e-commerce, e-store and e-mall has got initial development with the rise of online shopping. At last, based on the characteristic of Chinese aquaculture small scale, regional scatter and distribution imbalance, little capital and low technical ability, and perishable fresh and frozen seafood, this paper advocates to take aquatic products wholesale markets as the key point to build the third-party e-business platform, and to make good use of cluster advantage, brand effect, channel advantages and existing customer scale of aquatic products wholesale market to run e-commerce.
