  • Abstract
    Linear Induction accelerator rated 200kV, 5kA, 100ns and 100Hz repetition rate has been designed and developed in the division. Electron linear induction accelerator belongs to a new class of short pulse, high average power accelerator being developed for various industrial, medical and defense application. The satisfactory performance of all the sub-systems including solid state power modulator, amorphous core based pulse transformers, magnetic switches, water capacitors; water pulse-forming line, voltage induction cavity in adder mode (IVA) and explosive emission electron diode have been demonstrated. This paper mainly focuses on schematic, operation and operational results of induction voltage adder of LIA-200.
