Abstract :
In this context, it is herein presented a preliminary study of excitation-produced alteration in artworks. It is shown the importance of excitation system in regards to the provoked artworks responses. In continuation it is suggested a methodology based on procedure standardisation, which may allow prior establishment of safety limits for individual objects under examination
