Abstract :
Laser pulse duration and its temporal shape are essentials parameters characterizing laser as a heat source used for artworks cleaning. In order to decrease damaging effects of laser cleaning of artworks it is suggested to use laser generation in multipulse Q-switch mode, in which laser emits a sequence of pulses. Then during single pump pulse the transmission of laser generator rises and drops many times, thus generating from several to a dozen or so Q-switched laser pulses, so called burst mode
