Abstract
In order to study the U.S. economy development and recovery trend after the financial crisis, we first start from the reasons of financial crisis and then make a qualitative analysis of its impact. Then we use the Institute of Supply Management Manufacturing Index (ISM manufacturing & services index) as a representative of the economy, to have a qualitative analysis of the recovery trend of the U.S. economy after the crisis. ARIMA model is used to predict the trend of ISM manufacturing & services index. Finally, we conclude that the forecast is consistent with the previous observations and the U.S. economy is gradually strengthened.
