Abstract
In this paper we proposed a new approach named Generalized Capacitance Matrix Method (GCMM) which can solve comb-line or interdigital filters, duplex and multiplex. In the classical method, only spatial capacitance between conductors is considered. Now we extend it to generalized capacitance matrix when we introduce an ideal modal capacitance of TEM transmission line (including fundamental and high order mode) which is defined by the ratio of modal potential and modal charge. Also we introduced mutual capacitance, load capacitance, and a complex structure which can be solved by cascading of capacitance matrix. The examples show that this method has good accuracy
