  • Abstract
    In accordance with the current trends and needs of the Romanian power energy industry regarding the way that data is collected and analyzed, the necessity of an integrated monitoring, processing and alarming system arises especially in the field of mechanical vibrations measurement for rotating units and the housing locations. The concept for such a system has been proposed in the form of the ZigBee based Sensor Network Telesurveilance System (ZBSNTS) [1, 2]. A test bed for such a system in order to analyze how ZigBee devices perform in the proposed setup is the subject of the present paper.
