Abstract
The use of computers as a tool for information processing is one of the reasons that explain the rapid technological advancement experienced in recent decades. This finding, if applied to systems that allow the monitoring of the planet, may it be by air, sea or land or by the diagnosis of the climate behavior are fundamental to safety and improving the quality of living. From the standpoint of electrical systems, as they are essentially nonlinear loads, it is a subject which requires special care, since the response of these charges provides the search for solutions aimed at maintaining or improving quality of electrical power. In this context, this article shows measurements taken in the tracking system of satellites, in INPE-National Institute of Spacial Research at Cuiaba - MT. The current harmonic distortions are analyzed, as if the individual harmonic distortion and total pressure are in accordance with Resolution 345/2008 of National Agency of Electrical Energy (ANEEL).
